Data Deletion

1. Delete Your Account and Data

Send an email to privacy@showcasevideos.ai with the subject Delete my account, from the email address your account uses. That last part matters: it is how we confirm the request is really yours before we erase anything.

We will confirm receipt, verify the request, and complete the deletion within 30 days. You do not need a reason, and we will not ask for one.

Deletion is permanent. Your videos, your uploaded photos and your session history cannot be recovered afterwards, so download anything you want to keep before you ask.

2. What Gets Deleted

• Your account and profile details, including your name, email address and any branding you uploaded
• The listing photos and details you provided
• The videos generated from them, and your session history
• Any access tokens held for a Facebook Page, Instagram account or Meta ad account you connected
• Your mobile number and two-step verification settings, your branding, survey answers and support transcripts tied to the account

If you are an affiliate, your referral records and payout details are deleted too. A Form W-9 and the payment records behind any 1099 we have filed are kept for as long as tax law requires, and for nothing else.

If you belong to a team, the listings and videos you created stay with the team after your account is deleted; tell the team owner if you want them removed.

Two things survive, and only for as long as the law requires: the billing and tax records we are obliged to keep, and backups, which age out on their normal cycle. Neither is used to rebuild a deleted account. Files removed from cloud storage are purged within about a week, including any earlier versions of the same file.

You can also delete individual listings and videos yourself from the dashboard without closing your account; they disappear immediately and are purged from storage within about a week.

3. Disconnect Facebook or Instagram Without Deleting Your Account

If you only want us to stop holding your Facebook or Instagram connection, you do not need to delete your account. Open Channels in the admin area and choose Disconnect on the channel in question. That removes the stored access token immediately and cancels anything queued to post through it.

You can also remove the app from Facebook's side, which revokes our access whatever we hold: in Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, find ShowcaseVideos, and remove it.
