ShowcaseVideos.ai turns your listing photos into showcase videos using AI. To do that we collect what you give us, your account details and the listing photos and details you provide, and we treat both with care. We do not sell your personal information.
1. Who We Are
ShowcaseVideos.ai is operated by TOG Products Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “the Service”), which runs the website at showcasevideos.ai, an AI-powered video creation service for real-estate owners and executives. This policy describes how we handle personal information across the site and the member studio. It should be read together with our cookie policy and terms of service.
2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account information, your name, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text), or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google.
- Mobile phone number, only if you choose to receive two-step verification (2FA) codes by text message. See section 7 for how it is used.
- Session content, the listing photos, addresses, prices, and property details you submit to the video studio, and the responses generated for you. This may include commercially sensitive information; treat what you share accordingly, and see section 4 for how it is processed.
- Billing information, when paid subscriptions launch, payments will be handled by a payment processor (such as Stripe). We will receive subscription status and limited billing metadata, never your full card number.
- Communications, messages you send through our contact form or by email, including your name, email, and company.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data, session counts, features used, and token usage associated with your account, which we use to enforce plan limits and operate the Service.
- Technical data, IP address, browser type, and similar log data generated by our web server.
- Approximate location, when you create an account we estimate your city, state and country from the IP address you sign up from. The lookup runs on our own servers against a locally stored database; your IP address is not sent to anyone to do it. We use it to pre-fill the city and state on your profile (you can change or clear them at any time on the Account page) and to understand where our members are. It is approximate and never used to locate you more precisely.
- Product activity, while you are signed in we record how you move through the Service: pages opened, buttons clicked, how long a page was open, and requests or page errors that failed. We use it to find and fix the places where the Service gets in your way. It never includes what you type into a field, your photos, or payment details; it is stored on our own servers, is not shared with advertisers, and is deleted after 18 months.
- How you found us, when you visit we note the site or app that sent you, any campaign tags in the link, the page you landed on and your device type, without your IP address. If you create an account it is linked to your account, so we can tell which of our posts, ads and partners work. It is never shared with or sold to advertisers. See the cookie policy.
- Cookies, as described in our cookie policy. Non-essential cookies are set only with your consent.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information to:
- Provide the Service, create your videos, save your project history, and let you return to and re-download past videos
- Operate your account, authentication, security, and support
- Enforce plan limits and, when billing launches, process subscriptions
- Improve the Service, understand aggregate usage patterns (with consent where analytics cookies are involved). Our analytics tool is Google Analytics 4, which does not log or store IP addresses.
- Communicate with you about your account, changes to the Service, and, with your consent, marketing
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
4. AI Processing of Your Sessions
This is the most important section of this policy. When you submit a video request, your photos and listing details are sent to Anthropic's Claude API, the large-language-model service that power the video pipeline. This means:
- Your session content is processed by Anthropic on our behalf to generate staging, camera motion, music, and the final video.
- Anthropic's handling of API data is governed by its own commercial terms; as of this policy's date, Anthropic states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default.
- We store your sessions in our own database so your history works; we do not use your session content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.
- AI-generated video content is machine-generated and may be inaccurate. It is not legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice; see our terms of service.
5. Legal Bases
Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we process personal information on these bases: performance of a contract (running your account and sessions), legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service), consent (non-essential cookies and marketing, which you may withdraw at any time), and legal obligation (tax, accounting, and lawful requests).
6. Sharing and Disclosure
Separately from the public share pages you create yourself (described at the end of this section), we do not sell personal information, and we share it only with:
- Service providers, Anthropic (AI processing, section 4), our hosting provider, Twilio (delivery of two-step verification text messages, section 7), and, when billing launches, a payment processor. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
- Authentication providers, Google, if you choose to sign in with Google. From your Google account we receive only your name, email address, profile photo (used as your avatar until you change it) and Google account identifier.
- Legal and safety, where required by law, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of the Service, our members, or the public.
- Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer with the business, subject to this policy.
Approximate location data: this product includes GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, available from https://www.maxmind.com.
Videos You Choose to Share Publicly
When you create a share link for a finished video, that link opens a public page. Anyone holding the link can view it without an account, and the page shows the property address, the city, and the name and brokerage you chose to display.
By default these pages are also visible to search engines, so a video may appear in Google results for the property address. You can turn this off for any individual video using the “Let buyers find this on Google” checkbox in the share dialog. Turning it off adds a noindex instruction to that page and removes it from our sitemap; search engines usually drop it within a few days, though we cannot control their timing. Turning off the share link itself removes the page entirely.
Do not create a share link for a listing whose address or imagery you are not permitted to publish.
7. Text Messages (SMS) for Two-Step Verification
We use text messages for one purpose only: sending one-time passcodes for two-step verification (2FA) when you sign in. Texting is optional; emailed codes, authenticator apps, passkeys and Google sign-in remain available. Full program terms: SMS Terms.
- How you opt in. You type your own mobile number into a two-step verification form and press the button beside it (“Send code” or “Text me a code”). The form appears on the sign-in code page, in Account details > Two-Step Verification, and on the “We recommend two-step verification” page. The consent statement is shown directly under the number box: you agree to receive one-time passcodes by text from ShowcaseVideos.ai for two-step verification only. Creating an account does not sign you up for text messages.
- What we send. One-time two-step verification codes only. We do not send marketing, promotional, or account notification text messages.
- Message frequency. Message frequency varies. You receive one message each time you request a code by text.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Opting out and help. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from us, or switch text codes off in Account details. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using section 14. After opting out you can still sign in another way.
- How your number is used. We use your mobile number only to send your two-step verification codes and to secure your account. Messages are delivered through our SMS provider, Twilio, which processes your number solely to deliver them.
We do not share, sell, rent, or provide your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in, or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The only third party that receives your number is our SMS delivery provider, for the sole purpose of delivering the messages you request. Mobile opt-in data and consent are excluded from every other category of sharing described in this policy, including business transfers.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Data Retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. Session history is kept so you can return to it; you may request deletion of specific sessions or your entire account (section 10). Contact-form messages are kept as long as needed to handle the inquiry. Log data is retained for a limited period for security and diagnostics. Product activity records are deleted after 18 months. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it.
9. Security
We protect your information with industry-standard measures: passwords are stored as salted one-way hashes, sessions are protected against cross-site request forgery, database access is restricted, and connections to the Service and to our AI provider are encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information, including your session history
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent at any time, including via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using section 14. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
11. International Transfers
The Service is operated from the United States, and our service providers (including Anthropic) are U.S.-based. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
12. Children
The Service is designed for business use and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves, for example, when subscription billing launches. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice on the site or by email before the changes take effect.
