Frequently Asked Questions

The things people ask before signing up. Still stuck? Ask us directly.

What exactly is a credit?

A credit is a unit of production, not a currency you have to think about. One is worth roughly five cents of the AI generation and rendering that goes into your video. Credits exist so you only pay for what a particular video actually needed: a simple three-room condo does not cost the same to make as a thirty-photo estate with staging and camera motion on every hero shot, and charging both the same would mean overcharging one of them.

How many credits does one video cost?

A typical listing video runs about 86 credits. That breaks down as 18 for the base render (the widescreen cut, the address lower-third, library music, hosting), 7 for each AI-motion hero shot, and 1 per virtually staged room. A vertical cut for Reels and TikTok adds 6, a square cut adds 4, and an AI-composed original score adds 4.

Will I know the cost before I am charged?

Yes. The studio shows the exact credit cost of the video you have configured before you commit to the render, and your balance sits next to it. Nothing is deducted until you press render.

What happens to credits I do not use?

Plan credits roll over for 2 months, so a quiet month is not a wasted one. Credits you buy as a top-up never expire. If anything is about to lapse we tell you on the Usage tab before it does.

Do I have to be on a plan?

No. If you list a few times a year rather than a few times a month, buy credits as a top-up instead and skip the subscription entirely. Packs start at $20 and come down to about $0.26 a credit at the largest size. Most agents genuinely are better off this way, and we would rather say so than sell you a plan you cannot fill.

What if I run out mid-listing?

Buy a top-up at any time, it lands in your balance immediately. You can also switch on auto-refill so a render is never blocked halfway through a listing, which is set up on the Payment methods tab and charges your default card.

Monthly or annual, and can I switch?

Annual saves about 17% against the monthly rate and is billed once for the year. You can move between the two, or between plans, whenever you like: any change is prorated, so you are credited for the time you have already paid for and have not used.

What happens if I cancel?

Your plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for rather than stopping on the spot, and your credits stay usable until then. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period. Turning it back on before that date picks up where you left off.

Is the free video really free?

Yes, and it does not ask for a card. It uses every photo in your listing, just like a paid video, and carries a small watermark, which is enough to judge whether the output is worth paying for. Activating a plan removes the watermark.

Who is the charge from on my statement?

It shows as TOG Products Inc., the parent company behind ShowcaseVideos.ai. Payments are processed by Stripe, we never see or store your card number.
